General Information

What does ßeta mean? It means that this is a test run. While your votes will still count in the end, expect the site to change frequently. We are going to make this area of the site more useful for business owners when we are done testing. The usability of this site will only change for business owners wishing to participate in more advanced areas of the project.
It also may mean that some areas of the site may not work properly. We have a team of testers finding the bugs in the site, but feel confident that the user areas of the site work well enough to let you use them (we are still testing the business user areas, however).

All votes are MANUALLY counted and updated. This is to protect the ranking system from being 'SPAMMED' by angry customers trying to lower rankings and business owners (and loyal employees) from increasing their rankings or reducing the competition's. Updates are done weekly. All pages involving rankings show a 'last updated on....' tag on the bottom. If a page has not been updated in the last 7 days, it's because there were no votes on that page.

Only businesses involved in Service, Sales, Salons and barber shops, and Food Preparation are going to be listed initially. Usually when you choose a mechanic or a restaurant, you continue to go back to them and recommend them to others. That's the idea of this area. We want to know where you go to buy furniture, who fixes your car when it breaks down and where do you go to eat when the family comes to visit. We also want to know who you will NEVER go back to again.

The rankings are the average of these characteristics: Overall Customer Satisfaction, Employees professionalism, Employee Knowledge of Product (for sales specific businesses), Employee competency and ability to explain Service (for service related businesses), Cleanliness (for food service) and how Presentable the Shop/Store/Restaurant/Etc was and ease of locating what they needed and overall selection. Clicking the business name will give you a breakdown of the rankings.

Please only submit the form once for any particular business. All form submissions are logged. If it is determined that the submissions are being spammed (multiple submissions by the same person), ALL ratings will be removed from the database for that individual. We understand that opinions change, and one visit to a salon may differ from the next; so it will be acceptable to 'change' your submission.

Email addresses are collected for use by our database ONLY. Your information will NOT be sold or used for any other purpose. The only time we will contact you is if we have a question about a comment left.
